LOTS OF AKC DOGS AND CFA CATS!

As we drove toward the Javits Center one of the first things we saw was the billboard high above the building, announcing the coming event.
Today was October 15th and we were here today to get aquainted with the building, the parking and where we could unload all the "stuff" that we had hauled from Alabama, Canada, Missouri and Pennsylvania.



As we approached the building the billboard seemed close enought to touch.



We knew we had the correct building when we saw this picture but where were we going to park. Oh well, we'll figure that out later...now to get unloaded and start getting our booth set up.

Once inside the building we had to find out where our booth was to be set up. We had requested cream colored drapes for our booth and all the drapes we saw were blue and white. Those colors were not exactly what we wanted to compliment our Fall theme but we'll just have to make do. But we were promised tan carpeting. Where was it??

We finally decided if we were going to get set up in the alloted time we had better get started. The next picture shows the carpet in our booth but none in the aisle. This is because we had to move everything out of our booth into the aisle while the carpet was laid in the booth area. Next we moved everything back so they could put the matting and the carpet in the aisle. It was "fun" but it all worked out.
